Full-grain leather is regarded as the highest quality leather, which is why we choose it for the production of our bag and accessories.
Being the strongest, outermost layer of the hide to be used, and keeping the grain in its entirety, rather than being sanded away to look more ‘uniform’, full-grain leather lasts much longer. As it ages, it develops a patina, which is the change in color over time. This change occurs faster on untreated pieces and is considered to be a highly desirable characteristic of leather.
On the smooth, unaltered surface, you can even see the pores and small hair follicles (if you use a magnifying glass), which indicates that the leather is of high quality. Other characteristics to take note of are fat wrinkles or growth lines, natural variations in the grain texture, shading, and small scars.
Every hide is unique as it comes from a different animal with different markings and blemishes so when looking at or working with full-grain leather you’ll soon realize that no two hides are exactly the same.

I ordered the Navy Blue Athena crossbody bag/wallet. The leather is soft and absolutely beautiful. The compartments in the purse are everything I was looking for….and I looked for the perfect purse for months. I love designer bags, but honestly, I am tired of seeing everyone with the same purse. This crossbody stands out and is absolutely worth the price. I love Minooy and their quality handbags. I will definitely purchase from them again.
The bag I chose came exactly as I expected. It is well made, the color is exactly as shown. It is perfect for traveling as described. We are going overseas and I wanted something that I could carry all important ID’s, credit cards, passports, phones, lipstick in one place and keep it safely on my body and the crossbody bag is exactly what I needed. Oh, and I had mistakenly ordered the wrong color and when I reviewed my order and realized what I had done I quickly emailed customer service and the following day they emailed back and assured me they would send the color I wanted. I was so happy, and I got the right color! Very nice company, I would order from then again!!
I bought this after buying the Naya for a trip last fall. I wanted a slightly bigger bag and a different color. The quality is very good. I like the wallet section, (credit card slots) of the Naya better and the zippers are more secure on the Naya. This is a very nice bag!!
